CV
I was apprentice at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making. I made my examen in the workshop of Gentges&Scheit in Berlin, where I was employed for another two years. After journeyman's years in Turin/Italy and Göttingen with Dagmar Loepthien, I settled down in Potsdam making quintones.
In 2003 I went to Christian Brosse (Borstorf/Lübeck) in order to build a baroque cello.
Beside the repair and renting of violins I also do restorations, sound adjustment and bow rehairing.
My focus is on making new classical-modern quintones and violas.
